About Emma

I'm a Registered Physiotherapist and lifelong runner with a deep passion for helping injured runners make a strong and sustainable comeback. I competed in varsity track and cross-country through university, which gave me firsthand experience of the demands — and the injuries — that come with high-level running. Over the years, I’ve dealt with my own setbacks as an athlete, which really sparked my interest in understanding the rehab process, not just from a clinical perspective, but from an athlete’s point of view.

That blend of personal experience and professional expertise led me to create Rehab to Racing — a coaching and physiotherapy platform designed to support runners through their return-to-run journey. I focus on bridging the gap between rehab and racing, so runners don’t just heal their injury, but come back stronger, smarter, and more resilient.

“Initially I just wanted to get back into running. The repeated injuries had taken away my joy in running, and as an ex-varsity athlete I struggled with the idea that I was never doing enough. Emma not only helped me rediscover the joy in running, but she also helped me to train for a half marathon and run paces I never imagined I would be able to again. Emma knew when to challenge me and when to remind me that rest is ok. I would highly recommend her as a coach to anyone and everyone!”
